Diagnostic Assistant
November 2022 -
My job was performing all duties as assigned by Team Leader, primarily operating machine manufacturing lines in the IA (Immunoassay) label area which included processes such as setup of 2DUV, Checkweigher, Labeller, Serac and Vial Inspection machines with the assistance of the MES software POMS, which provided the information required as well as the processes to setup and close out each order. During the process, I would have to effectively communicate with the Fill side of the line, who were responsible for filling vials with the correct material to ensure a smooth process. Another important element of the job is Downtime Reduction. This is recorded with the software OEE, which shows in real-time the output of bottles per minute and any downtime that occurs. It was my responsibility to record downtime in an effective and authentic manner.
Student Helper
September 2022
A two-week experience, which saw me standing in various parts around the TUS Midlands Business & Hospitality campus answering student enquiries and directing to the correct locations where they need to go. The job also saw me utilising my digital marketing knowledge to assist a team with social media posts for three of the university's Instagram pages, including designing a poster highlighting events occuring throughout the first week of TUS' Connect and Engage programme, which would act as a template for week two of the programme.
Digital Consultancy Project
October 2021 - September 2022
A module as part of the MSc in Digital Marketing course at TUS.
It focuses on the identification of an industry partner in the area of digital marketing, encompassing several technical requirements covered throughout the course. An in-depth analysis is done in relevant areas like the company's website and social media channels as well as a competitor's digital presence.
A strategy is formed and implemented based on the results of the analysis, the design, testing and execution of client-approved digital marketing solutions within the work environment.
Finding of reports are then provided as well as recommended solutions in the long run to enhance digital presence addressing the initial proposal.
General Operative
June 2021
A 3 week contract on behalf of Collins McNicholas to work onsite with Restore Digital. I was assigned with the Scanning team and would rotate between the positions of Scanning Operator & Catcher.
• Responsible for scanning and booking out Leaving Certificate scripts so workflow is uploaded digitally to a secure system.
• Operation of a heavy-duty scanning machine to ensure scripts are recorded and no issues arise during the scanning process.
• Program called ExamTrak utilised to scan bar codes so as to record information and reunite batches of scripts to their assigned packets and crates.
• Concentration and attention to detail necessary as the scanning process is fast and demanding.
• Preparing new crates prior to scanning as to maintain a consistent pace.
• Briefly assigned to other positions when necessary such as cutting spines off from each batch and prep work for printing headers and assigning various barcodes to each batch.
Digital Marketing Capstone Project
September 2020 - May 2021
A module as part of the Bachelor of Business in Digital Marketing (Honours) course at AIT.
A Situation Analysis and Proposal analysing the company's current digital presence is done, including website and social media, industry, target demographic, customer personas, etc. Following this is the implementation of ideas set out based on previous results in order to improve the company's digital presence including:
• Created and designed content for social media pages.
• Created a brand new Instagram account for the company.
• Utilised various editing software to accomplish this.
• Gathered analytics for each page.
• Made recommendations to the company for the future.
• Researched company beforehand and developed proposal based on the gathered info.
